Save nearly a quarter of snow use, machine costs and operator time over a season.

Features

The Global Cutter has distinguishing features that secure its place as the leader in shaping technology.

The perfect shape

Unlike any other shaper on the market the Global Cutter's shape is innovative and unique

The Global Cutter has the largest and smoothest transition on the market. It has a large elliptical shape that creates a smooth take off and a safer, wider landing. The lower transition extends and blends out into the floor creating more speed for riders and allowing them to go higher out of the pipe and execute more technical tricks. It's the shape riders want.

Patented laser guidance system

Laser and tripod being set up on the wall while the receiver is mounted on the top of the boom

This creates accurate and efficient shaping as the operator is guided to achieve perfect vert, straight line cutting and is assisted during the entire build process. The laser guidance system alone will save a resort 15% per season in build time including snow cat operation and snow savings.

The rotary laser is set up on the wall and the receiver is mounted on the boom to guide the operator to cut a straight half pipe.  In addition the laser system also calculates an accurate vert. angle reading for a precise take off.

Bi-directional cutting system

Paddle style cutting system operates in both directions

This is an extremely robust, powerful and effective system.  It uses a paddle style cutter system but unlike older paddle cutters it won't stall ever. It's unique patented bi directional motors* enable it to recycle snow up to repair a wall or cut down if it has been snowing. It is extremely efficient in icy, hard conditions as well as slushy, spring conditions. It will save a further 9% per season as it uses less snow and will fix tracks and holes faster than the other major supplier of half pipe shapers.

* The bi directional motors neutralise chain tension and the hydraulic flow in parallel doubling torque therefore not allowing it to stall.  Both motors are mounted on the same horizontal axis and being bi directional allow for paddling snow up the walls or cutting down.

Heated pressure bar and finishing mats

Concealed hydraulic hoses that heat the pressure bar and finishing matts

This achieves the perfect corduroy finish. The heated pressure bar allows the machine to rest it's weight on the wall as it cuts the wall.  Heat is provided through the bar from the hydraulic hoses that supply the top motor pressing a corduroy finish through the mats onto the wall.  The finishing mats are mounted on rubber which allows the Global Cutter to rest on the wall without cutting when the machine’s position is rolled back.
